For my news programme F27 News:

Jess: welcome to F27 News and the time is 6’oclock. My name is Jessica Simpson.

Mark: and my name is Mark McKenzie. (Studio)

Jess: The top stories in stoke Newington today are: (Studio)

Mark: The half the trees in Stoke Newington will be cut down due to the short supply of paper, but all the trees will be replanted. (Voiceover)

Jess: Another top story is the mix up of animal orders in Clissold park farm. . Where they ordered birds and deer but got crocodiles and tigers sent to the farm instead. . (Voiceover)

Mark: The local council have ordered a massive £1,000000 clean up of all the chewing gum off the pavements. (Voiceover)

Jess: Retro foods in Church Street have always been known for great food but it was reported yesterday 150 people who eat spaghetti Bolognese there had food poisoning. (Voiceover)

Jess: And finally the age limit for drinking alcohol is now 21 yrs old as the Stoke Newington council changed it two-weeks ago.

(Open sequence is played)

Jess: Our top story involving 21yr old people not drinking alcohol, our reporter James has more of the story. (studio)

James: I’m outside one of the bars in Church Street called CO2 where on a regular basis many students of 18 two weeks ago were able to drink alcohol. But now that has come to an end. Main reason the local council has changed it is because (On location)

(Voiceover): many teenagers are stupidly binge drinking every weekend and vomiting on sidewalks. Also making lots of noise at night. Which isn’t nice for local people trying to sleep and also the teenagers who get them selves in such a bad state isn’t good for them and there health. Local residents told us their concerns.

James: So how do you feel when you see and hear teenagers drinking on the weekends? :(On location)

VOX pops:

Jonny: well being the age I am I feel I have trouble sleeping. As at night all I hear is young people making lots of noise and shouting and laughing. Also this isn’t good for my heath because I need as much strength as I can get. So sleeping is vital.

Becky: Well I find it gruesome to watch all I see is people vomiting and messing around. Also teenagers are on the floor and completely out of their head and looking as if they’re not aware of what of what they are doing at all.

Bob: I think teenagers can’t handle their drink and all they do is go out to binge drink and not really to have a good time but just to get smashed out of their head. So therefore the ban is good to come into action so quickly and will solve all the bad habits of teenager drinking.

James: However the ban has drastically decreased the wages and money coming in for businesses as the bars and pubs, clubs major customers is aged between 18-21yrs old. (On location)

James: So the business at the moment is running low and also the bars, clubs are little more quite at the weekend. They may have to raise prices on drinks to get money back. Which won’t be good for customers over 21yrs. A bar owner and customers told us how they felt about the ban. (voiceover)

VOX Pops:

Izzy: I’m a student and 18 yrs old and this new ban has drastically token away students fun and enjoyment. I don’t see there’s any harm in having a few drinks and having a laugh and having a relaxing night out with friends. They have taken are freedom away.

Peter James: Well I don’t see any point of the lowered age the students who come into are bars are very well behaved and just have a laugh and good time and joke around. This ban is good for business as less money is coming in and also students are suffering as well.

James: That was local residents talking, so you can see the ban has had bad and good effects to it. This is CO2 bar with me James Peterson back to you in the studio. (On location)

Mark: Thank you James for that interesting story. (studio)
